All educational institutions under 4 boards to remain closed Sunday due to Mocha

All educational institutions under Chattogram, Cumilla, Barishal, and Jashore boards will remain closed on Sunday due to the impending Cyclone Mocha.
The education ministry in an order today urged the authorities concerned to take necessary steps in this regard, said its Public Relations Officer MA Khair.
Universities in Chattogram, Cumilla, Barishal, Jashore, and Khulna will also remain closed.
The ministry sent separate orders to the director general of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, and the chairman of the University Grants Commission regarding the matter.
In a separate statement, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education ordered the closure of all primary schools indefinitely from tomorrow in Chattogram, Khulna, and Barishal divisions.
The decision regarding the opening of primary schools will be taken considering the situation in the affected areas, read the statement signed by Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin, senior information officer of the ministry.
