Zayed loses post, Nipun new GS

Actor Zayed Khan has lost the post of General Secretary (GS) of Bangladesh Film Artists Association allegations of non-compliance with election code of conduct.
Chairman of the Appellate Board Sohanur Rahman Sohan confirmed the matter to reporters on Saturday evening. So, Nipun has been elected GS after the candidacy of Zayed Khan is cancelled.
Sohanur Rahman Sohan informed about the decision against Zayed Khan in a press briefing after the emergency meeting of the Appellate Board at the office of Bangladesh Film Directors Association on Saturday (February 5).
Chairman of the Appellate Board Sohanur Rahman Sohan, Mohammad Hossain and complainant Nipun were present at the meeting.
