Actor and musician Tahsan Khan has been granted bail in a case filed by one of the customers of the controversial E-commerce platform Evaly Limited.
Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Rezaul Karim Chowdhury passed the order on Wednesday.
Earlier on January 20, the High Court granted him anticipatory bail for six weeks after his surrender before it. The High Court also directed Tahsan to surrender before the lower court within the period.
On December 4 last year, an aggrieved customer of Evaly -- Saad Sam Rahman -- filed the case with Dhanmondi Police Station against nine people, including Evaly CEO Mohammad Rassel, Chairman Shamima Nasrin, musician Tahsan, and actors Mithila and Faria.
