Sabnam Faria seeks anticipatory bail

Actress Sabnam Faria has filed a petition with the High Court seeking anticipatory bail in a case of collusion and embezzlement in the fraudulent activities of e-commerce company Evaly.
Her lawyer, Jasmine Sultana, made the announcement on Sunday (December 12). Earlier in the same case, Rafiat Rashid Mithila had sought the anticipatory bail.
On December 4, Saad Sam Rahman, a customer of Evaly, filed a case with the Dhanmondi Police Station against nine people including Tahsan Khan, Rafiat Rashid Mithila and Sabnam Faria.
According to the statement of the case, the money of the customers has been embezzled and assisted fraudulently. The amount of money embezzled is Tk316,000 which could not be recovered.
Actress Sabnam Faria worked as the Chief Public Relations Officer of Evaly.
