Husband among 2 detained over death of actress Shimu

Police detained two persons, including the husband of film actress Raima Islam Shimu, in connection with her death.
Md Maruf Hosen Sardar, superintendent of Dhaka district police, confirmed the development to media.
However, a case is yet to be filed in this regard, the SP said.
“Victim's family members are yet to reach out to us,” he said, adding that a case will be filed with Keraniganj Police Station once they arrive.
The body of the actress, who went missing a few days ago, was found inside a sack near Hazratpur Bridge in Keraniganj, on the outskirts of the capital, on Monday.
