11 deaths from Covid, 1,406 fresh cases 24 hrs

Bangladesh reported 1,406 Covid-19 cases and 11 more deaths linked it in the past 24 hours till Friday morning, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said in its routine daily statement.
The country reported 5.48 percent Covid-19 positive cases as 25,667 samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
In the past 24 hours, the combined figure of coronavirus in Dhaka city and upazilas of the district is 863 while one Covid-19 death was reported during
the period.
The official tally showed that the virus killed 29,016 people and infected 19,41,057 so far, the statement added.
The recovery count rose to 17,93,082 after another 6,936 patients were discharged from the hospitals during the past one day.
