Four deaths from Covid-19, 897 fresh cases detected 24 hrs

Bangladesh reported 897 Covid-19 cases and four more deaths linked it in the past 24 hours till Sunday morning, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said in its routine daily statement.
"The country reported 3.65 percent Covid-19 positive cases as 24,605 samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
In the past 24 hours, the combined figure of coronavirus in Dhaka city and upazilas of the district is 604 while one Covid-19 death was reported during the period.
The official tally showed that the virus killed 29,037 people and infected 19,43,577 so far, the statement added.
The recovery count rose to 18,14,665 after another 7,976 patients were discharged from the hospitals during the past one day.
