No Covid-19 death for 2nd consecutive day

A total of 182 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in 24 hours till 8:00 am on Wednesday, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The press release said, however, no Covid-19 death was reported during this period.
Total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains 29,112 and the death rate is 1.49 percent.
The current positivity rate is 1.38 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 14.26 percent.
Meanwhile, the total number of cases rose to 19,50,124, added the release. A total of 13,179 samples were tested across the country during this period.
It added that at least 1,192 patients have recovered from Covid-19 within this time. The total number of recoveries now stands at 18,65,600 and the recovery rate at 95.67 percent.
