Bangladesh logs zero Covid death with 17 new cases

Bangladesh logged zero Covid-19 death and 17 positive cases in the past 24 hours till Saturday morning, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) sources said.
The country reported 0.58 percent Covid-19 positive cases as 2,938 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. During the past 24 hours, the combined figure of coronavirus infection in
Dhaka city and upazilas of the district is 14 while no Covid-19 death was reported during the period.
The official tally showed that the virus killed 29,127 people and infected 19,52,691, so far, the statement added.
The recovery count rose to 18,95,404 after another 258 patients were discharged from the dedicated hospitals during the past one day.
