31 new dengue patients hospitalized in 24 hours

A total of 31 new dengue patients were hospitalized in 24 hours till Thursday morning as cases are on the rise in Bangladesh.
Of them, 28 were hospitalized in the Dhaka city and three were admitted outside Dhaka," a press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said.
With the new cases, the total number of dengue patients this year rose to 1,347 while some 1,214 patients were released from hospitals. The first death from dengue was reported on June 21, this year.
