One die of Covid-19, new cases 373 in 24 hours

A woman died from Covid-19 in 24 hours till 8:00am Monday, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
With the death, the total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country stood at 28,061 and the death rate stood at 1.77 percent.
A total of 373 new infections were recorded during the period, taking the total number of people infected to 15,83,626, the new release added.
The current positivity rate is 2.16 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.88 percent.
A total of 17,271 samples were tested across the country during the time. At least 323 Covid-19 patients have recovered during the same time.
The total number of recoveries now stands at 15,47,750 and the recovery rate at 97.73 percent.
The deceased was a woman aged between 51-60 years, it added.
