Covid-19 booster dose for 50 and above

Health Minister on Monday said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed to lower the minimum age to 50 for Covid-19 vaccine booster dose.
Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam came up with the disclosure while talking to reporters after the weekly cabinet meeting at Secretariat on Monday.
The secretary also said among the coronavirus-infected people, most have contracted the Delta variant.
He further said that the cabinet has approved a bill on the search committee over the appointment of the election commissioners, which will be placed before the parliament soon.
