Putin has visited Kherson region in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin has visited Ukraine's Kherson region, the Kremlin said on Tuesday, reports AFP.
"The supreme commander of Russian Federation armed forces has visited the headquarters of the Dniepr military grouping" in the Kherson region, the Kremlin said in a statement, without giving details on when the visit took place. It marked the first time Putin has visited Kherson, a region partly occupied by Russian forces, since Moscow annexed it along with three other Ukrainian regions last year.
