Koreans are known for their superb skin and are the creators of Glass Skin, a skincare concept in which the skin appears brilliant and reflects like glass due to its clarity and translucence. It is a popular K-beauty craze that has swept the globe.

Glass skin is defined as having a clear complexion, a smooth texture, and plump skin. Take a peek at these Korean home remedies for achieving that glassy look at home. Actually, these home remedies have been used in India for ages. Beauty Guru Shahnaz Husain suggests some natural ingredients that can give you Korean glass skin.

Aloe Vera: Aloe Vera's excellent natural characteristics have been utilised for skin improvement for a long time. The gel is excellent for dry, damaged skin, has naturally faded scars and hydrates the skin.

Slice an aloe vera leaf in half and remove the gel. Apply the gel to your face and let it sit for an hour. Rinse your face with warm water and pat it dry. For future usage, store the rest of the gel in an airtight container.

Rosehip Oil: If you want to acquire glass skin at home with natural ingredients and home cures, Rosehip oil is a perfect way to start. Rose hips are the fruit of the rose and have also been used in Ayurveda in the treatment of ailments and also in skin problems. The essential oil of Rosehip contains high omega-3, vitamin E, and vitamin A, all of which aid in removing scars and blemishes.

This oil is suitable for people of all skin types. You must apply 3-4 drops of rosehip oil to your face every night before bed and wash it in the morning. Within a week, you will see a significant difference.

Sugar Scrub: Sugar Scrub is one such solution that works wonders for exfoliating the skin. It eliminates dead cells and increases cell turnover, improving skin circulation and a natural shine.

Take half tablespoon of each white and brown sugar, and combine them with some water. Then apply the mixture to your skin for two to three minutes. Wash it with lukewarm water now. Use this scrub at least once a week before going to bed.

Honey: If you want to have Korean-style glass skin, you should use honey as it contains various components that are beneficial not only to the skin but also to the hair. Make sure to use only organic honey, which is high in nutrients & antioxidants and help to keep your skin flawless and smooth.

To make this remedy, combine one tablespoon of honey with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Make a thick paste and apply it to your face. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Using water, rinse it off and pat your skin dry.

Fermented Rice Water: Rice water is known for eliminating UV skin damage and promoting collagen formation, which maintains the skin smooth and wrinkle-free.

Boil some rice, strain it, and save the water. Allow it to cool completely before transferring it to a spray bottle. You can also avoid boiling the rice by soaking it in water overnight and collecting the water the next morning. Allow for fermentation for 2-3 days before applying the fermented rice water as a face spray in the morning after your shower and right before night.

So, if you want to get glass skin naturally, incorporate these ingredients into your skincare regime. Moreover, in order to achieve glowing skin, you must pay equal attention to your lifestyle and daily routine. Use sunscreen, hats, and scarves to protect your face and body from UV rays as long as it is daylight. Make hydration a top priority in your skincare routine. Drink plenty of water every day and eat plenty of water-rich vegetables and fruits.
