Bangladesh on Tuesday received 60 lakh more Pfizer doses COVID-19 vaccine from US.
With the latest donations of Pfizer vaccines from the USA, the total US government vaccine contribution has stood at more than 4.5 crore doses and millions more doses are scheduled to arrive over the coming months, said a US
embassy press release here.
Donation of vaccine enables Bangladesh to continue expanding immunizations in hard-to-reach areas and provide boosters to vulnerable citizens, it said, adding that the US government COVID-19 assistance to Bangladesh has exceeded $121 million.
