Four shot dead in Bandarban

Police recovered the bullet-hit bodies of four people along the bank of the Sangu River in Rowangchhari upazila of Bandarban district on Sunday.
The identities of the deceased were not immediately known.
Jerin Akter, superintendent of Bandarban Police, said local people spotted the four bullet-hit bodies in the area in the morning and informed police, reports UNB.
“We have heard from local people and a team of police is on the way to recover the bodies,” she said.
According to local people, the incident occurred on midnight Saturday.
