Another 75 Bangladeshis joined traffic police in New York

Another 75 Bangladeshis have joined the traffic police in New York City, USA. The graduation of the new Traffic Enforcement Agents was held on March 4 at the Police Headquarters.

In this, 138 new agents completed the training of the police academy and took charge of the job. Of the 138 new police agents, 75 are Bangladeshis. And the one who got the highest number while training in the academy and got the honor of being the best agent or valedictorian is also a Bangladeshi. His name is Nusrat Chowdhury.

These 138 people will serve in various boroughs or municipals area in New York. Chief of the Department Rodney K. Harrison was the chief guest at the graduation ceremony. About 2 dozen senior officials were also present.

Among the union leaders were Ricky Morrison, Sakunbi Alufemi, Albert Sloh, Darren Defritus, Saeed Islam, Syed Utba, Nizam Uddin, Kamruzzaman and Khan Shawkat, former executive vice president of the union and senior agent of the traffic police. They congratulated the newcomers.
