3 more die of Covid-19 in 24 hrs

Bangladesh on Thursday reported 261 Covid-19 cases and three deaths in past 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, the combined figure of coronavirus in Dhaka city and upazilas of the district is 195 while one Covid-19 death was reported during the period. The official tally showed that the virus killed 27,986 people and infected 15,76,827 so far.
The recovery count rose to 15,41,661 after another 313 patients were discharged from the hospitals during the past 24 hours.
From the beginning of the pandemic, 97.77 percent Covid-19 patients recovered among the infected people while 1.77 percent died.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said among the total 27,986 fatalities, 12,216 occurred in Dhaka division, 5,681 in Chattogram, 2,050 in Rajshahi, 3,611 in Khulna, 946 in Barishal, 1,270 in Sylhet, 1,367 in Rangpur and 845 in Mymensingh divisions.
