Dentist Bulbul stabbed to death in Dhaka

Dentist Ahmed Mahi Bulbul was stabbed to death during a suspected mugging in the capital’s Shewrapara area early on Sunday.
deceased Bulbul was stabbed by miscreants near his house in Sheorapara around 5 am on Sunday. Later police rescued him and took to Shaheed Suhrawardy Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
Bulbul practiced at his chamber, “Rangpur Dental”, in Moghbazar, according to AFM Mahtabuddin, deputy commissioner of the Mirpur zone of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
He left his home in Shewrapara early in the morning for Noakhali and encountered a mugger soon after, media reports quoted the police as saying.
The body was kept at the morgue of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for autopsy, said police.
