Fire breaks out at old Dhaka building

A fire broke out at a building in old Dhaka’s Islampur area on Monday afternoon.
The fire originated on the of Royal Tower at 2:10pm.
On information, eight firefighting units rushed to the spot and were trying to douse the blaze, said Lima Khanam, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.
Later, the fire was brought under control after around half an hour, he added.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
