Students’ protest goes on braving rain

The demonstrating students has been continuing their scheduled protests all over the capital defying the downpour.
As per their announcement, the students took position on the Rampur Bridge, wearing black badge around 1 pm on Monday.
The protesters led by Sohagi Samia displayed cartoons during the demonstration and demanded exemplary punishment for the offenders.
She said: “We have gathered here braving rain to express our condolence over the deaths of the students who fell prey to the road accidents in the capital and elsewhere in the country. We demand immediate punishment of the offenders and calling the authorities concerned to ensure road safety.”
