Padma Bridge to be inaugurated on June 25

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Tuesday said the long-cherished Padma Bridge will open to traffic on June 25.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also ruling Awami League President, will inaugurate the bridge at 10:00am on June 25, he said.
Obaidul Quader, also general secretary of the party, disclosed the date after meeting with the Prime Minister at Ganobhaban.
In response to a question, in the inaugural ceremony, the minister said they will invite all, including leaders of BNP.
