PM changes Bangladesh with development activities: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal today lauded Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, saying the premier is leading Bangladesh with her prudent leadership and she has changed the country with development activities.
"Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, in his 7th March speech, said 'you cannot suppress the seven crore people'. Bangabandhu's daughter proved that. Bangladesh has changed positively under the leadership of the PM," he said.
The home minister said this while paying homage at the shrine of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreath at Tungipara in Gopalganj, reports BSS.
About the development activities, he said the daughter of Bangabandhu presented the Padma Bridge to the people ignoring all conspiracies.
The minister expressed satisfaction over the construction of Padma Bridge as the journey towards Tungipara from Dhaka has been very comfortable.
After placing wreath at the shrine of Father of Nation, Asaduzzaman offered fateha and special prayers seeking forgiveness of the souls of the martyrs of August 15 carnage, including Bangabandhu.
Inspector General of Bangladesh Police (IGP) Dr Benazir Ahmed, Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shahida Sultana, Superintendent of Police Ayesha Siddique, District Awami League General Secretary Mahabub Ali Khan, Tungipara Upazila Awami League General Secretary Md Babul Sheikh, Vice President Md Ilias Hossain, Municipal Awami League General Secretary Sheikh Saiful and local Awami League leaders were also present there.
