Fire breaks out in city

A fire broke out at a 10-storey building named RK Tower in city’s Banglamotor area at around 12.10pm on Saturday.
Rozina Akhter, duty officer at the control room of Fire Service and Civil Defence (headquarters), confirmed the matter to BSS saying that the fire broke out at the 6th floor of the building.
On information, a total of eight units of fire service rushed to the spot to douse the flame, she said.
The origin of the fire could not be known immediately. Later, they brought the blaze under control.
