Nur Hossain gets life-term in arms case in Narayanganj

A court here on Thursday sentenced Nur Hossain, a convict in sensational Narayanganj seven murder case, to life-term imprisonment in an arms case filed in 2014.
Additional District and Session Judge Sabina Yasmin handed down the verdict in presence of the convict.
According to the prosecution story in brief is that on May 15 in 2014, the law enforcers recovered a revolver, eight rounds of bullet and eight cartridges of rifle from the house of Nur Hossain at Shimrail area under Siddirganj Upazila here. Two cases were filled following the recovery of arms and ammunitions next day.
Later, police pressed charge sheet to the court in this regard in the same year. Testifying the witnesses and evidences, the court gave the order today.
Earlier, Nur Hossain, was produced before the court from Kashimpur Central Jail, said Public Prosecutor Salauddin Sweet.
