385 new cases, 3 die of Covid-19 in 24 hours

A total of three people died from Covid-19 in 24 hours till 8:00am Monday (December 13), according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of deaths has now reached 28,031 and the death rate stood at 1.77 percent.
Besides, some 385 new infections were recorded during the time, taking the total number of people infected to 15,79,710, the news release added.
The press release added that the current positivity rate is 1.75 percent while the total positivity rate stood at 14.18 percent.
A total of 22,037 samples were tested across the country. Some 267 Covid-19 patients have recovered in this period. The total number of recoveries now stands at 15,44,417 and the recovery rate at 97.77 percent.
Of the three deceased, two were male and one was female, it added.
