Foreign Minister is undergoing treatment at BSMMU

Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen is undergoing treatment at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital. He went to the hospital on Tuesday (September 6) morning as his high blood pressure and vertigo (Jhimuni) problems worsened.
It is known that on Tuesday morning, Foreign Minister went to the chamber of Professor Dr. Fazlur Rahman, who is the chairman of the cardiology department. Head of the Department of Heart Failure Dr. Chowdhury Meshkat Ahmed and Endocrinology Department's Professor Dr. Abul Hasnat was present at the time.
Doctors conducted a physical check-up of the foreign minister. Echocardiogram and blood tests of the minister were done on doctor's advice. The report of these tests will be available tomorrow, Wednesday (September 7).
Foreign Minister's personal physician Dr. Sheikh Faiz Ahmed told reporters that last Sunday around 8 pm, when the foreign minister felt ill, I went to see him. At that time minister's blood pressure was slightly abnormal and he was experiencing vertigo. He was in no condition to make the journey.
Earlier, the foreign minister fainted on the plane due to the same problem on his way to Dhaka from Turkey, said Sheikh Faiz Ahmed.
