3 killed in Brahmanbaria road crash

Three passengers of a CNG-run autorickshaw were killed and two others injured as a truck rammed them at Sarail in Brahmanbaria early Friday.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The accident took place in the early hours of Friday (December 17) in the Baishamura area of the Dhaka-Sylhet highway.
Officer-in-charge of Khatihata Highway Police Station Mohammad Shahjalal Alam said the deceased were all brick kiln workers. The victims were of Shahbazpur of Sarail upazila in the district.
They were going to the brickfield by the CNG-run autorickshaw in the early morning and the rashly driven truck coming from the opposite direction rammed, leaving them dead on the spot, he added.
