4 die of Covid-19, new cases 122 in 24 hours

A total of four people died from Covid-19 in 24 hours till 8:00am Saturday, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country stood at 28,047 and the death rate stands at 1.77 percent.
Some 122 new infections were recorded during the period, taking the total number of people infected to 15,80,872, the news release added.
The current positivity rate is 0.87 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 14.05 percent.
A total of 13,971 samples were tested across the country. At least 144 Covid-19 patients have recovered during the period.
The total number of recoveries now stands at 15,45,403 and the recovery rate at 97.76 percent.
Of the deceased, three were men and one was woman. Of them, one was between 51-60 years old and three between 61-70, it added.
