Power supply of Dhaka city to be restored by 8pm: Palak

Power supply of Dhaka city will be restored by 8pm today (October 4, 2022). The engineers and technicians of the power grid are working now, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, state minister for ICT division, said in his Facebook page.
In a post on his official Facebook handle, the state minister also disclosed that the supply of electricity has been normal up to Aminbazar in Dhaka. The remaining areas of Dhaka and Chattogram are to get electricity back by 8:00pm and 9:00pm respectively.
The national grid suffered a major collapse, snapping power supply across the country at 2:05pm on Tuesday. Dhaka, Chattogram, Cumilla, and Sylhet have mostly been without electricity since then.
