Shahriar Alam cancels Pakistan visit

State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shahriar Alam's visit to Pakistan has been canceled. He was scheduled to fly to Islamabad via Dubai on a regular Emirates Airways flight on Saturday (December 16) at noon.
According to foreign ministry sources, the state minister and foreign secretary were scheduled to visit Pakistan to attend a special session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The Foreign Secretary left for Pakistan on Friday (December 16th).
Shahriar Alam told Dhaka Prakash, "I am not going to visit Pakistan but the secretary has gone."
