He said, Myanmar has officially expressed regret for some issues. They said that this will not happen in the future.
Before this, the meeting between the delegations of the two countries started at the conference room of BGB's 'Southan Point' at Shahpari Island in Teknaf around 10 am. The meeting ended around 3:30 pm.
According to BGB, a flag meeting was held between the delegations of Bangladesh and Myanmar at around 9:30 am on Monday at Shahpari Island.
Last August, massive shelling and mortar shelling erupted between the country's army and the Arakan Army, an insurgent group in Rakhine state, inside Myanmar on the Tumbru border in Naikshyongchari.
On August 28, two mortar shells fired by Myanmar landed in the territory of Bangladesh. Bangladesh strongly protested by summoning the Myanmar ambassador several times over the casualties in the border firing.
