Another SP sent on forced retirement

The government has sent another superintendent of police (SP) on forced retirement citing public interest.
The police official is Zillur Rahman, according to a gazette notification issued by the Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs today.
Aminul Islam Khan, Senior Secretary, Public Security Department, Ministry of Home Affairs signed the notification as per the orders of the President.
The notification said, "Additional Commandant (Superintendent of Police) Barrister Md Zillur Rahman, a member of the BCS (Police) cadre, has been retired from public service in the public interest as per the provisions of Section 45 of the Public Service Act- 2018 (Act No. 57 of 2018). This order will be effective immediately."
Earlier on October 18, the government sent three superintendents of police- Delwar Hossain Mia and Mirza Abdullahel Baqui of the police's Criminal Investigation Department, and Shahidullah Chowdhury of the Police Headquarters- on early retirement.
On October 31, two officers of the rank of additional deputy inspector general were sent on forced retirement. They are additional DIG Md Mahbub Hakim (Tourist Police) and additional DIG Md Alamgir Alam (CID).
On October 16, the government sent superintendents of police Md Ali Hossain Fakiron compulsory retirement.
On November 16, the government sent Information Secretary Makbul Hossain on compulsory retirement.
