Prothom Alo editor Matiur Rahman sued under Digital Security Act

A case has been filed under the Digital Security Act (DSA) against Bengla daily Prothom Alo editor Matiur Rahman and two others with Ramna Police station here.
The case was filed at 11:10 pm on Wednesday, confirmed Ramna Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Hasan, reports BSS.
Advocate Abdul Maleque alias Mashiur Maleque filed the case also implicating Prothom Alo reporter Shamsuzzaman Shams and a camera person, said the police.
"I have filed the case against Prothom Alo editor Matiur Rahman and two other journalists," Advocate Abdul Maleque told journalists.
In the first information report (FIR) of the case, the plaintiff brought the charge of tarnishing the country's image and reputation by using print, online and electronic media.
