Nafiz Mohammad Alam who gave interview in DW documentary on RAB arrested

Dhaka Metropolitan Police on Sunday night arrested Nafiz Mohammad Alam, who gave an interview in German media company Deutsche Welle's (DW) special documentary on the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a case filed in 2017.
An official of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Gulshan division said that a person named Nafiz Mohammad Alam was arrested from his home in Bashundhara residential area in a case of pornography. During the search, foreign liquor was found in his house.
He also said that a case will be filed against Nafiz Mohammad Alam under the Narcotics Control Act for finding foreign liquor at home. He will be brought to court today and requested to be remanded.
DW Bangla also made a tweet about this from its official account in the early hours of Monday (10 April).
In 2021, Nafiz Mohammad Alam along with one of his friends was arrested by the RAB over illegal liquors.
He recently came to the discussion because of his interview on a DW documentary about the RAB.
