Massive fire engulfs warehouse in Dhaka's Nawabpur

A massive fire broke out at a warehouse in Dhaka's Nawabpur Thursday night, the authorities said.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported till the filling of this report.
"Fourteen fire-fighting units responded to the blaze that started around 10:10pm. Locals alerted the fire department after thick smoke was billowing out from Ayub Bhaban beside Nawabpur Tower in Suritola," Shahjahan Sikder, deputy assistant director (media cell) of the Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters, said.
The reason for the fire and extent of damage could not be known immediately, he added, reports UNB.
