New Covid curbs from Thursday

The government has imposed new restrictions across the country from Thursday (January 13) for prevent further spreading of Covid-19.
The Cabinet Division issued a circular containing 11-point restrictions on Monday this evening.
The restrictions as follow:
1. People will compulsorily wear masks at all gatherings, including shops, shopping malls, markets, hotel-restaurants, otherwise they face punishment as per law;
2. All will have to wear masks outside home, including offices and courts. Mobile courts will be conducted across the country to prevent violations of health rules;
3. It is mandatory to show vaccine certificate to take meal sitting at restaurants and residential hotels;
4. The students aged above 12 won't be allowed to enter educational institutions without vaccine certificate after the date stipulated by the Ministry of Education;
5. The authorities concerned must increase screening at land, sea, and air ports;
6. Bus, train, and launch will operate with half passenger capacity. Drivers of all kind of vehicles and their assistants must have coronavirus vaccine certificate;
7. Passengers coming from abroad must show vaccine certificate, and their Rapid Antigen test must be conducted;
8. Imams will make the woorshippers awarned in 'Khutba' at mosques about complying with health guidelines, including wearing masks;
9. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will do necessary campaign and take measures aiming to accelerate taking vaccine and booster dose;
10. Social, political, religious ceremonies, and rallies at open place will stay close until further instruction;
11. Local administration can take step discussing with people concerned if any special situation creates in any area.
