Fire breaks out at Chattogram garments factory

A massive fire has broken out at a garments factory in the Bayezid Bostami area of Chattogram port city.
The fire originated at 7.45am at Anwara Garments factory said Md Anisur Rahman, the deputy director of Chattogram Fire Service and Civil Defence.
He said: “Some 11 fire tenders were pressed into service but it took them over two hours to contain the blaze around 10.30 am."
No casualties were reported till writing the report at 1:30pm on Tuesday. However, authorities are yet to ascertain the extent of damages.
