Sanjay, Farhad new president, GS of BAFA in Albany

The biennial election of the Bangladeshi American Foundation of Albany (BAFA) has been held in Sunday (January 9) at office of BAFA in Cohoes, Albany the capital of New York, USA. Sanjay Sikder, the president and Dr. Mohammad Farhad has been elected General Secretary.
Following a day-long voting on Sunday, three-member of election commissioners Sadiq Ahmed, Jubayer Rahman and Shafiqur Rahman announced the results.
The other elected members of the Bangladeshi American Foundation of Albany (BAFA) are Chairman Dr. Humayun Kabir, Vice Chairman Abdullah Khan Tushar, Vice President Sohel Ahmed, Finance Secretary Mizanur Rahman Pradhan, Cultural Secretary Jaya Saha and Director Rahim Badsha.
Also elected members of the Advisory Council are Advisor Co-ordinator Abul Bashar, Advisor Modasser Hossain, Engineer Humayun Kabir, Jabed Munir, Tania Monir, Jagbandhu Debnath (Dev) and Dilruba Kali.
