Rokeya Padak recipient Dr. Saria joins Dhaka Prokash

Begum Rokeya Padak recipient Dr. Saria Sultana has joined Dhaka Prokash, the multimedia news portal, as an Assistant Editor.
She will perform duty as head of literature, feature, research and development department of the media.
Writer and rural development researcher Dr Saria achieved a Bachelor’s (Honors) and Master’s degree in Public Administration from Islamic University, Kushtia. She later obtained PhD from Jahangirnagar University.
The subject of her research was ‘Role of Link Model on Sustainable Rural Development in Bangladesh’. She is interested in media and rural development.
Several research books of Dr. Saria have been published. She and her husband Dr. Emdad Hasnayen jointly wrote books titled ‘History of Kushtia’, ‘Kushtia on the History of Liberation War’ and ‘Kushtia on Religious History and Architecture’.
