Half bus fare for students from Wednesday

Public transport owners on Tuesday (November 30) agreed to take half fare from students in Dhaka from Wednesday (December 1).
General secretary of Dhaka Road Transport Owners’ Association Khandaker Enayet Ullah made the announcement in a briefing.
He said, “Students will have to show ID cards of their schools/colleges while paying half fare. This will be applicable from 7:00am to 8:00pm.”
Enayet Ullah said the students who will provide half bus fare, they have to have identity card.
However, the half fare will not be applicable on government and weekly holidays and during seasonal vacation, according to a release issued in this regard.
