Renowned writer Kazi Anwar Hossain dies

Renowned writer Kazi Anwar Hossain has passed away. He was 85.
Anwar Hossain’s daughter-in-law Masuma Maymur confirmed the matter to media. He breathed his last at 4:40pm on Wednesday.
She said, “Abba had been on life support at BIRDEM Hospital for the last 10 days. He breathed his last there at 4:40 this afternoon.”
She said Anwar Hossain's body would be brought to his Segunbagicha residence on Thursday morning.
Later, after Zohr prayers, according to his last wish, he will be buried in Banani Graveyard in his mother’s grave.
