Khaleda Zia returns Firoza from hospital

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has returned to her Gulshan residence Firoza after spending 80 days at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.
A car carrying the former prime minister left the hospital around 7:30pm on Tuesday. She is set to continue her treatment at home, said Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, a member of her personal medical team.
“She is not completely well at the moment, but the internal bleeding has stopped, and she is now free from fear,” the doctor said.
Khaleda, 76, has been receiving treatment at Evercare Hospital for various health complications since November 13. Her medical board members claim she immediately needs to go abroad for better treatment as she has been diagnosed with liver cirrhosis.
