BNP doesn't want Bangladesh to be a developed country: Parash

Awami Jubo League Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash on Thursday said the BNP doesn't want that Bangladesh would become a developed and prosperous country.

He said this while speaking as the chief guest at food distribution programme at Mirpur in the city. "The BNP is conspiring against the country's development," he added.

Nothing that anti-liberation forces are main ally of BNP, Parash said the party made their ill efforts to turn Bangladesh into a failed state. BNP wanted to destroy the glory of the liberation war, he added, reports BSS.

Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina didn't let that happen, Parash said.

The Jubo League chairman hoped that Awami League would achieve victory in the upcoming national election.

Jubo League General Secretary Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil, Presidium Members advocate Mamunur Rashid and Md Rofiqul Islam, Publicity Secretary Jydeep Nandi, Office Secretary Md Mostafizur Rahman Masud, Information and Communication Technology Secretary Md Shamsul Alam Onic, among others, were present at the event.

Acting President of Dhaka City North Jubo League Jakir Hossain Babul chaired the function moderated by its General Secretary Md Ismail Hossain.
