‘I will talk with PM over Murad’s statement’

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Monday said he would discuss with Prime Minister over statement of State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murad Hasan.
“The statement of Murad Hasan is his personal and it is not even for the government and the party. I will talk to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina over the issue,” he said.
The AL leader came up with the assertion while talking to journalists after a view exchange meeting at central office of the party at Bangabandhu Avenue of the capital.
The meeting was held with the mayors and councilors of the two city corporations (North and South) of Dhaka and the leaders of Dhaka City (North and South) Awami League to celebrate the golden jubilee of the Independence and the Mujib Year.
He said, “His statement against woman has tarnished the image government.”
