Vested quarter wants to create unrest on campus: Dipu

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni today said a vested quarter is making ill attempts to create unrest on campus ahead of the next general elections.
"A vested clique wants to create instability on campus ahead of the next parliamentary polls. But the people will resist those who want bloodshed on the campus," she said.
Dipu, also Awami League joint general secretary, said this while replying to journalists after joining the award giving ceremony of the annual sports competition of Chandpur Baburhat School and College on its campus here, reports BSS.
"We will not let the vested quarter make anarchy on campus as the people of Bangladesh want peace," she said.
The minister said BNP is trying to realize their unjust advantages by muddling the water ahead of elections but they will never be successful.
Police Super Milon Mahmud and Additional District Magistrate Nasir Uddin Sarwar, Chandpur Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Nurul Islam Nazim Dewan, AL's district unit vice-president Md Yusuf Gazi, Dr JR Wadud Tipu, Chandpur municipal mayor Zillur Rahman Jewel and Baburhat School and College Principal Mosharraf Hossain were present, among others.
