Awami League (AL) presidium member Advocate Jahangir Kabir Nanak today said that BNP should do politics within political etiquette and traditional customs.

"There is etiquette in politics. There is a tradition in politics. But the party called BNP speaks out by going beyond political etiquette. It speaks indecently. That is why I will request BNP to return to political activities," he said.

Nanak said these after visiting the site of the youth grand rally to be held on November 11 next marking Awami Jubo League's the golden jubilee and 50th founding anniversary at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital.

The AL leader also said that BNP men should remember that they cannot carry out arson terrorism or march with sticks.

They have to stop holding procession with stick, he added.

Awami League organizing Secretary Mirza Azam, MP and central leaders of Awami Jubo League were also present, among ohters, on the occasion.

Nanak went on saying: "The ground on which we are standing is the historical Suhrawardy Udyan. Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman gave his historic speech on 7th March in this historical field. He gave the direction of the liberation war to the Bangalee nation."

December is the month of victory, he said, adding that on the occasion of the 50th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Awami Jubo League, the youth grand rally will be held on this ground on November 11, keeping this victory month in mind.

More than 10 lakh youths will attend the rally, he hoped.
