Mirza Fakhrul, Mirrza Abbas arrested

BNP has alleged that party's Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was picked up by detective police (DB) from his residence in Uttara on Friday (December 9) around 3:30 am ahead of BNP's Dhaka divisional mass rally slated for Saturday, December 10.
BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed this information to Dhaka Prokash.
On the other hand BNP's Standing Committee member and former minister Mirza Abbas was also picked up by the detective police (DB) from his house in Shahjahanpur around 3:30 am, the family alleged.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's press wing member Shamsuddin Didar confirmed this information to Dhaka Prokash.
