BNP MP's announce resignation from parliament at Dhaka rally

Seven lawmakers of Bangladesh Natonalist Party (BNP) have announced their resignation from parliament from the Golapbagh rally today.
Gulam Mohammad Siraj of Bogura-6 first made the announcement while addressing the rally.
Zahidur Rahman from Thakurgaon-3, Mosharof Hosen from Bogura-4, Aminul Islam from Chapainawabganj-2 and reserved seat MP Rumeen Farhana also made similar announcement amid huge cheer from the party activists.
From the stage, it was announced that Harunur Rashid from Chapainawabganj-3, and Abdus Sattar Bhuiyan from Brahmanbaria-2 have also resigned from their positions.
While addressing the rally, Rumin Farhana said, 'We have already sent our resignation letter by email. Today is a holiday. The members of Parliament will deliver this resignation letter to the Speaker tomorrow.
She said "We wanted to raise voice in support of the people at the parliament. But we were barred from speaking time and again. There's no point in staying in this parliament."
