Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Saturday said that even if BNP MPs resign, the Parliament won't paralyzed. If seven of them leave, the Parliament will not stand still.
"There is no reason to think that parliament will be paralyzed if seven members of BNP leave. The party must repent for this," he said while addressing an AL rally at the Radio Colony School and College ground in Savar.
Savar and Dhamrai Upazila Awami League and Ashulia Thana Awami League organized this public meeting 'to protest against BNP Jamaat's conspiracy and lies'.
Quader said the BNP chairperson was champion of corruption five times while in power, his son Tariq Rahman started the reign of loot by building Hawa Bhaban.
Earlier during BNP's divisional rally in Dhaka's Golapbagh field, seven BNP lawmakers announced their resignation from parliament today.
